For questions about health insurance (Medicaid, Family Health Plus, Child Health Plus, Medicare, commercial insurance, the uninsured, etc.) and health access. Help finding insurance, disputing insurance company denials, and help for people with medical and hospital bills they can’t afford.

Therapeutic & Psychiatric Care
Community Oriented Recovery & Empowerment Services (CORE)

CORE Consists of 4 services:
 

1. Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment (CPST)

  • Goal-directed supports and solution-focused interventions with the intent to achieve person-centered goals.

  • Therapy to assist with stability, personal growth, and functional improvement
     

2. Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR)

  • Assists individuals in improving their functional abilities to the greatest degree possible in settings where they live, work, learn, and socialize.

  • Rehabilitation counseling, skill building, and psychoeducational interventions.

  • Life skills educations - involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. 
     

3. Family Support and Training (FST)

  • Offers instruction, emotional support, and skill building necessary to facilitate engagement and active participation of the family.

  • Works with individual’s “family of choice” who live with or provide support to the individual.
     

4. Empowerment Services – Peer Support

  • Non-clinical, peer-delivered services with focus on rehabilitation, recovery, and resilience.

  • Promotes skills for coping with and managing behavioral health symptoms while facilitating the use of natural supports and community resources.



Available to anyone with Medicaid Managed Care who is HARP enrolled
