WHO WE ARE

Since 1995, LICH has been the CoC lead entity for our regional CoC, which covers Nassau and Suffolk counties. Our CoC is one of the largest across the U.S. in terms of homeless and funding rates, comparable to many U.S. cities

WHAT IS A COC?

A Continuum of Care Program, or CoC, is a broad network comprised of local partners within each region across the U.S. that are all focused on ending homelessness within their communities.

Each CoC creates a local governing body that is responsible for creating local policies and funding strategies that best address homelessness.

Each CoC has a designated lead entity to bring together local partners and create strategies to end homelessness.
