Requesting a Letter of Support

The CoC receives frequent requests for letters of support for additional funding opportunities. Please submit all requests to Greta Guarton at gguarton@addressthehomeless.org and include the following information: 

  • Name of Agency/Program

  • Location of Project (town if known, Nassau or Suffolk)

  • Population to be served – can include singles or families, disabilities, re-entry, youth, DV, veterans, etc. (must indicate homeless – we will not send letters of support unless it is clear that the population in question is homeless)

  • # of Units and # of beds

  • Scattered site or single site

  • If the proposed project will participate in Coordinated Entry (permanent housing/transitional housing)
