LIHP provides a range of services related to housing assistance for renters and homeowners. They are currently operating a COVID-19 and Mortgage/Foreclosure assistance program

New York State Department of Financial Services

The state runs a Foreclosure Relief Unit to assist homeowners already in foreclosure or at risk of foreclosure, by providing information about available programs and the foreclosure process, as well as assistance in obtaining loan modifications or other relief.

Under the CARES Act, EOC of Suffolk has COVID-19 relief funds available for mortgage arrears and utility arrears.
